Enjoy an exhilarating Wing Walk for George Eliot Hospital

All flights take place from the Aerosuperbatics Operations Hangar – AeroSuperBatics | RFC Rendcomb Airfield.

Aerosuperbatics is proud to be home to the world’s only formation wing walking team, operating from its private airfield in Rendcomb, Cirencester, in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds.

With more than 41 years of wing walking experience and a 100% safety record, participants can take to the skies knowing they are in the hands of an experienced and professional team.

The Wingwalking Experience: Flown by an experienced display pilot participants will take to the skies on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane, experiencing a thrilling sequence of flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives, and banked turns, cheered on by friends and family watching from below. 

Before take-off, they’ll feel the roar of the 450hp engine and the wind from the propeller reaching speeds of 760mph. The adrenaline will soar during lift-off, and the views over the Cotswolds are breathtaking. It’s truly the ride of a lifetime.

Fundraising Commitment

Participants pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £750.

Payment Terms & Registration

All £75 deposits must be paid with completed registration form.

50% of the fundraising target to be met by 12 May 2027 and the remaining amount by end of June 2027.

Look out for the GEH Charity Team and Charity mascot George Ele on arrival.


PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

All wingwalkers must:

Be 18 years or older

• Be no taller than 6ft 2” (flexible depending on waist measurement)
• Weigh no more than 14 stone (89kg)
• Have a waist measurement under 40” when dressed for the flight
• Be able to climb unassisted to and from the top wing (approx. 10ft/3m)
• Be in good health, with no history of:
  • Epilepsy, severe head injury, blackouts, high blood pressure, heart/lung disease, diabetes, mental illness, or substance dependency
  • If under medical supervision and the condition is controlled, then you can fly with us.
  • If you have any concerns at all regarding your health, fitness and/or ability to wingwalk, then we as that you consult your doctor.
